Below you can see examples of work in progress following a detailed
design:
Brief 1 |
This was designed in 2000 then constructed in 2004 the steepness of the garden has been over come setting in a series of steps and planting beds on different levels using interlocking sleepers that act as a retaining wall to the bank, this method is also cost effective. This design has given the garden freedom of use as before it was unmanageable.
This project has been very interesting using a mix of stone paving, timber and gravel with plenty of good sized planting beds that are easy to maintain. These photos will show the work being undertaken from start through to completion. The design was very useful in this case as it gave a sense of quantity and direction of materials.

Brief 2 |
This is a garden constructed using our design on a
property on the Malvern Hills. This demonstrates that gardens can easily be
built on very steep slopes. This garden also has a garage constructed
beneath it. Sleepers were used during this construction for their
durability.
